How to make a lithophane lamp

  1. Drop a wide photo (panoramas work great).
  2. Set the circumference: diameter × 3.14. A 80 mm lamp needs about 250 mm.
  3. Keep min/max thickness around 0.8 / 3.0 mm and a frame of 3 mm at top and bottom.
  4. Download the STL and print standing up with 100 % infill.

Which LED should I use?

A cool-running LED puck or tea-light. Avoid incandescent bulbs – PLA softens around 60 °C.
