What the print check does
- Auto-orient: tries dozens of orientations – including every large flat face – and picks the one with the least overhang, a stable footprint and a sensible height.
- Overhang check: measures how much of the surface faces downwards steeper than 45° and therefore needs support.
- Bed fit: checks the oriented part against common printers (Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, resin).
- Settings: suggests layer height, supports, adhesion, walls and infill, plus rough filament and time estimates.
How to use it
- Drop an STL, 3MF, OBJ or STEP file – the check runs automatically.
- Review the report next to the 3D preview.
- Download the re-oriented STL or 3MF and slice it.
The free plan includes one print check per day; Pro is unlimited.
Frequently asked questions
Is the orientation always optimal?
It is a strong starting point based on overhang area, bed contact and height. For parts with special strength or surface requirements, adjust in your slicer.
How accurate are the time and filament estimates?
Within roughly ±30 % for PLA at standard speeds. Your slicer gives exact numbers for your printer profile.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The analysis runs in your browser.
