How to convert SVG to STL

  1. Drop an SVG file into the box above.
  2. Set the final width in millimetres and the extrusion height.
  3. Download the STL or 3MF.

Tips for clean results

  • Filled shapes are extruded; holes (like the inside of an "O") are kept.
  • Lines without fill are thickened using their stroke width.
  • Convert text to outlines/paths in your vector editor (Inkscape: Path → Object to Path; Illustrator: Create Outlines) before exporting.
  • Overlapping shapes are fine for printing – slicers merge them.

Frequently asked questions

Why is part of my SVG missing?

Text that has not been converted to paths, embedded bitmaps and clip masks are not geometry. Convert text to outlines and remove clip paths in your editor.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. The image is turned into a 3D model inside your browser; it never leaves your device.
